VitraHaus, Weil am Rhein

Designer furniture manufacturer Vitra is showcasing its latest furniture collections in the spectacular VitraHaus, the newly built architectural and design highlight in Weil am Rhein, Germany. The 21-meter high building, complex in its design, consists of multiple rectangular building units stacked on top of each other in what appears at first glance to be a “chaotic” fashion. The conceptual approach of architects Herzog & de Meuron was based on the principle of stacked Mikado sticks.

Visitors can discover classic and contemporary designer furniture, spread across four floors and 3,600 square meters. The VitraHaus will be used as both an exhibition area and a museum and will give visitors inspiration for their own homes.
